By Charlotte Dean For Mailonline. Holly Hagan has opened up about her experience of slut-shaming and how she felt she didn't deserve 'respect' during her time on MTV reality show Geordie Shore. The media personality, 28, admitted she now knows there is 'nothing wrong' with having sex with people when you're single, despite feeling differently when she was on the show after being subject to horrific trolling.
Holly said that although she values her time on the fly on the wall series for making her who she is today, she couldn't think of 'anything worse' than going back into the house and having to party every night.
Answering a fan during a question and answer session, Holly told a fan who asked how she dealing with slut-shaming: 'I just know now that there's nothing wrong with sleeping with people you fancy whilst you're single. I know now that's not true. Afterwards while discussing a return to the show, she insisted: 'Never in a million years. I love the show and it made me the person who I am but I couldn't think of anything worse than living in that house and drinking every night.
Answering a fan during a question and answer session, Holly told a fan who asked how she dealing with slut-shaming: 'I just know now that there's nothing wrong with sleeping with people you fancy whilst you're single'. No thanks! However she did admit she and the other 'original' girls do hope they can do something to celebrate the show's tenth anniversary next year.
Holly, who has always been candid about the affect trolling and negative comments about her appearance had on her self confidence, said:. Nobody should be telling you what you should or shouldn't weigh! I'm so sorry they've made you feel like that when you're clearly happy where you are. Your body is yours and you're the only person who gets to decide what to do with it.
